About Us

Who are we?

We are a community based organization and media hub focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place. Our goal is to create a better Baltimore and World, where everyone matters. HOPE FOR THE CITY is a movement of people who believe they have the strength and power to solve some of the world's greatest problems, starting with their own community and then expanding accross the globe. Some of the biggest problems we face today Worldwide is sexual abuse, child abuse, and the lack of access to housing and food. All human kind regardless of race, age, income, religion, or sex deserves the same access to a hopeful and healthy life. When this goal can be accomplished then and only then we can create a world where everyone matter and hopelessness doesn't exist. We recognize that all people from every walk of life share a common humanity and that all are responsible for themselves and to the society as one. Therefore we promote the mutual partnership of volunteers, donors, community and worldwide partners to alleviate the suffering caused by poverty and to rectify the condition that causes it.

Why we do what we do?

Hope for the City is a new community based organization and media hub. A new national movement to end sexual assault through sex trafficking and child abuse. The movement was launched following the October 2017 discovery of 80 abducted children and arrest of 120 predictors. Our main goal is to raise awareness on Human Trafficking and Child Abuse that notes the importance of engaging everyone in the conversation to end sexual violence and child abuse. This is a MOVEMENT you must be apart of this year! Hope for the City asks everyone – students, community leaders, parents, organizations, and companies – to step up and realize that the conversation changes with us. It’s a rallying cry to be a part of the solution. This movement will combine innovative creative content and grassroots organizing techniques to spark conversation on a national and local level. Our goal is that over the next two years, to have over 300,000 people take a stand against sexual violence and homelessness by taking the WECARE pledge. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize fundraisers, community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers.
